Very poor. Food - We’ve eaten a lot of fish and chips from various places around the UK and this was one of the worst we’ve had. Chips - no taste to them at all, fish - Very poor and no taste to the ‘cod’. We are used to fresh cod from the chippies we’ve visited, this is far from it. Service was crap - 25 mins for food when it was very quiet, the server brought out the wrong food beside us and that took 15 mins to be fixed. Our food came out, the server didn’t offer any condiments OR CUTLERY. We’re sat at a restaurant, not a fish and chip shop on a street corner. Very poor for the price pai

Great atmosphere and friendly staff, with plenty of parking in front of the restaurant. We ordered fish and chips and calamari, and both were good. The tartar-based sauce had a nice twist to it. The only downside is that it was a bit pricey for the portion size.

Joe was very friendly, location right by the gravel beach where you can see the castle and cliffs. The fish and calamari were so tender with a thin, crisp batter. Amazing homemade tartar sauce. We shared a large cod and a calamari.

Popped in for lunch last minute and found nice outside table with little trouble. Service was quick and friendly. Food was hot and tasty - chips were particularly good - cost was on the pricey side but the location and overall experience was good.
