This museum was well laid out, easy to navigate, and gave great insights into the jute making history of India & Dundee. The influence of the former whaling industry was an eye opener. This was also a good insight to the social history of Dundee. A couple of hours very well spent.
N ND★★★★★Very good museum! A gentleman in a period costume started our tour in the first room, the followed by a good demonstrations by a former mill worker and a volunteer guide. Amazing to see the old machines still working! I would have bought some jute souvenirs (rather than bags) if there were any! The cafe was really nice, too! The tickets let you have an all-year entry!
