Great range of products, brands and ample stock. Very friendly and obliging staff who are happy to help. Evenings are a lot quieter in terms of parking, isle space and quieter queues at the till. Very generous opening hours too (generally 7am-10pm)

Used the scanner to do a weekly shop, got to the check out till & it decided that they needed to do a scan check. Only one staff member working across all the self scan tills so waited over 10 minutes for them to come to me. By that time it seems as though my scan had timed out & so was told a full rescan was necessary. At that point I only had 10 minutes to get to work so had to leave all my shopping to avoid being late. I have no issue with scan checks, but if you want to do them at least ensure you have enough staff available to do it!

This has been my regular supermarket for over a decade, but I'm going to stop shopping here purely because the security has gotten so invasive and aggressive. I haven't stolen a thing in my life, to the point that the one time I actually did forget to scan an item at Tesco, upon realizing when I got home, I took myself back down the store to explain and get them to charge me for the item. Despite the fact I've never stolen, I've clearly been profiled by a certain member of staff here who makes it her duty to closely follow me around the store. Even cheaper with nectar card and all the foods are fresh you can tell when you open the package smell fresh. stuff are very friendly and nice. Avoid asda who sales rubbish and unhealthy food with horrible stuff as well.
