We visited here twice during our stay in Durham once for dinner once for tea and both times the staff and food were oustanding. The menu is huge so your going to struggle being fussy in here! They also have a specials menu in the evening. The bar is dog friendly and you can book tables for food in there. They have a dog menu which our lad Ozzy loved! The staff are attentive and very friendly and caring about the dogs. The food is unreal, proper hearty food and good portions - you wont be hungry when you leave! Recommend 10 times over

I came for the walk but stopped for the food. The staff are friendly, atmosphere is comforting, the background music is spot on and the food was Delightful. Outside isn't too noisy either being so close to a road.

A lovely pub, we had a great meal - though I've never had mushy peas on a Sunday dinner before! Really good portion sizes. Staff were lovely but we were left waiting at times, the pub wasn't full so this was unexpected. We weren't asked for a second drink and we had to go and pay rather than the bill coming to us. Overall the restaurant was nice and clean, we didn't go through into the bar. Would go back again just for the raspberry cheesecake!

Hubby & I went for lunch for the first time at the Rose Teee Inn. It is the most welcoming pub we have been to, & spot on for customer service. It was busy & a bustling atmosphere. I had the cheesy pasta with brocoli and garlic bread and extra got a side salad that was lovely and crisp. The cheese pasta was nice but the sauce could be thickened up a bit. Large portions too. My hubby had the prawn ciabatta. Half pint of hobgoblin gold, half diet coke & pint diet coke. Cost £33.85 Toilets very clean Large car park Wheelchair friendly in part of the pub. Seems dog friendly. Kid friendly, there w
