Martin Rosenthal★★★★

A nice neighborhood pub with very good food and beer. Builders Arms was recommended to us by a London-based associate for our visit to Kensington. An excellent choice. The pub had a warm atmosphere and a very good beer selection. Unfortunately, the cask conditioned Dark Star IPA (yeh, I'm a deadhead) was sold out, but the patient waiter suggested the Gamma Ray which was fine. My partner had a delightful (her words) Hugo Spritz, which was the happy hour special up until 7pm. Food: We started with the scallops. Four small scallops and two pieces of chorizo sausage but well prepared. (£18).

I had the chicken Sunday roast, Toffee pudding with Ice cream and draft cider. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Overall, I paid 32£ for a load of very good food and left very satisfied.

Staff very kindly accommodated us on a Sunday without a reservation. Ordered the lamb roast and it was absolutely perfect - could not fault any part of it, so delicious! Excellent choice of beers too and really good service.

Keith Yeo★★★★

A nice pub with a good choice of meal offerings. Settled for the traditional Sunday roast for two. Platter came with a variety of roasted meats with all the associated sides. Food was good though the roasted beef was a tad dry but other than that, it was a very enjoyable meal. Service staff was attentive and friendly.
