D L★★★★★July 2025. Food is delicious and more adventurous than most pub menus. For starters, The spicy baked Camembert and the Korean chicken were tasty and generous sharing portions. The smoked trout mango wasabi combination was delicious (more mango would be good). The lobster thermidor was a bit heavy on the mustard (or radish not sure which, but it was too strong and so could only barely taste the lobster). For mains, the flat iron steak was cooked just right, carmellised and succulent. The battered fish was light and crisp, with beautiful white flaking fish inside. Burger with bacon was really go
Ornella★★★★★Came in last saturday with my family and we had a very nice time! The cheeseburger and the scottish egg were excellent and also the beers and the dessert were very good! The staff was made us feel very welcome, would definitely go back.
Caitlin Staley★★★★★Absolutely beautiful pub and I was so delighted by the service received. Very welcoming and accommodating. Would happily visit again just for the excellent service! Highly recommend!
Elle★★★★★Stopped by for some fish and chips and wasn’t disappointed! Everything was popping hot and not over fried. The chips were crispy yet still potato-y. No vinegar but I also didn’t ask. The curry sauce was new to me and I didn’t feel like I needed it. Maybe it’s a thing? Overall exactly what I wanted on my last day in England. There was a game on but even with that I still found a nice seat and hard a great time watching the football. Awesome vibes in a cozy setting. 10/10 would recommend and will probably be back next time I’m in town!
