My son fell over while we were in Waitrose today and blood was coming from his lip so this was pretty traumatising for him (he's 2.5 years old). Andrew approached us immediately offering medical help, in a calm and comforting way. His approach was perfect, professional yet warm and nurturing. I said we're OK and he politely let us be. My son was still upset as I approached the deli counter, (to leave my belongings to hand my son to his Dad who came to get him) Leah was just as kind. This Waitrose store is a great choice if you’re after quality ingredients and products. Hence it’s more expensive than Sainsbury and obviously Aldi. Their veg and fruit section, fresh juices and the bakery are amazing. The vegan/vegetarian aisle is not as comprehensive as in Sainsbury. I like that they sell Fiji water, which I frequently get. My personal product highlight is the San Nicasio chips made with olive oil - super yummy. Overall a great store, but price-wise not very budget friendly.

Usual goodies from as Compact store. The bakery needs a good look as croissants run out by 10 and lots of other bakery goods such as danish are over made and often still on the shelves at 8 so end up on landfill. Come on bakers plan better pls
