Quick review, very average. Ordered from the all you can eat option rather than the menu. Every time we ordered a selection of bits it was almost like we got questioned if we would eat it. Don't select more than 5 things, you get told the table is too small and a whole story of the kitchen and ordering and I really couldn't understand what was going on. Also the price for what you pay for the all you can eat on a Saturday I believe is far too much. Nearly £40 per person for a very average Chinese. Arrived at our Premier Inn just down the road from here at 5.30pm after 6 hours on the road from Yorkshire, only to be told the hotel bar/restaurant is booked up until 7.45pm 🤨. So Google maps to the rescue which pointed out this little gem only a 20 min walk away on this lovely sunny evening. The restaurant’s blended ⭐️rating just achieved our minimum threshold and so we turned up at unannounced 6.20pm. “Booked up”… but a table for 2 was just being cleared if we wanted to wait 5 mins. After a recent visit to this restaurant I felt I should write a review, as I attended with my family for a celebration and was disappointed. The food was good, although it took such a long time to get the courses that were ordered. The staff however were pleasant, just difficult to get the attention of.

Opposite a park with a lovely old bandstand you will find this great eatery. It is only open evenings and there is free parking across the road after 6.00 pm. The food was very good and usual we ordered far to many dishes in order to get a wide range of tastes. We were not disappointed but vey full. So Pin and her team we’re very efficient and cheerful without being pushy. Highly recommend a visit.
