An absolute work of art! The lamination on the pastry is unreal, and the fresh berries on top just take it to a whole new level. It tastes even better than it looks crispy, light, and perfectly balanced. A 10/10 experience that you absolutely must try! 😍🍰

Been buying bread from here for the past couple of months and I’m really happy with the quality. I actually switched from another French bakery after they changed their recipes and everything became overly sour - not my thing. Here, the bread and baguettes are consistently excellent: great flavour, proper texture, and no surprises. I also tried their fig bread. Really tasty, though more of an occasional treat rather than an everyday choice. Honestly, the bread is so good that I haven’t even got around to trying the pastries or coffee yet 😄 Highly recommend.

Nice charming cafe! I really enjoyed my coffee and the lemon dessert—it was delicious, just the right sweetness with a pleasant lemony tang. The cafe's location is in such a picturesque and vibrant area.

I have been going very unfreque trying to La Barantine for the past 6 years, I feel its a hit and miss, some days the croissant and pain au chocolat and baguettes are very fresh and similar to what you would get in France, in a good bakery, and like today, the pastries were dried (is the cost of butter reflected in their quality? ), the bread is still good and the small pastries look lovely (I had some over the years, as well as their quiches, and of very good quality). There are better places for French pastries and bread but the Barantine gives a good go at it!
