Cindy Hammonds★★★★★We were finishing up exploring Circus Lane when we came upon St Vincent Bar. We dropped in and had a steak pie. It was so delicious. They staff was helpful and very friendly. We enjoyed visiting with them. Great stop for a rest and snack.
Roberta Muir★★★★★If I lived in Edinburgh I’d be making ‘The Vinnie’ my local. This wood-panelled and winter green bar, full of the chatter of locals, has a lovely warm vibe led by friendly bar staff Leo and Pierce. In the basement of a Georgian townhouse on the edge of Stockbridge, Edinburgh’s best area for eats and drinks, it features cask ale, interesting wines and good cocktails, especially their hot gin: a concoction of gin, herbal tea, apple juice and cider steeped with seasonal aromatics, like a mulled cider.
Dan Gitter★★★★★First one in the door around 1:15 this afternoon. Decor is a 10, the gentleman behind the bar was friendly and open for a quick chat and the beer was delicious. Add in being dog friendly and there is nothing more you could want in a pub. Absolute treasure and would stop back in a heartbeat.
Mia Humphries★We ordered THE ORIGINAL VENETIAN SPRITZ as shown on the picture, which clearly says it comes with a “bowl” on olives. They didn’t give us the bowl of olives and when we asked for them they tried to charge us. Then we asked why it says on the menu that it comes with a bowl of olives, they just said “I don’t know”. It’s a scam and staff are rude. Not friendly at all. If you don’t want your day to be ruined, don’t go.
