Booked for lunch prior to a theatre visit. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Our server suggested 4 or 5 items should be sufficient for lunch. We chose Flor de Calabacin, Patatas Bravas, Croquetas Espinacas, Tortilla Morcilla y Picuillo and Berenjenas. My favourite was the courgette flowers and the black pudding tortilla, see photos. It was a little quiet, so not much atmosphere on a lunchtime. We would definitely recommend tapas3 if you are in Edinburgh looking for tasty authentic tapas.

On way home from visiting a restaurant new to us we normally ask"Would we go back there again" and sadly in the case of tapas3 the answer would me an emphatic no way. We were looked after by an attractive young lady called Freya so no problem with the service but I am guessing they were understaffed in the kitchen. We were recommended this restaurant by a Spanish speaking lady who is Peruvian which perhaps explains it. In turn, the Pan con Tomate was OK but the Pork Croquettes were fancy looking but not brilliant 5/10, the Gambas Pilpil were not good, the liquor had no zing 3/10, the Boquerone

My husband and I were just in Madrid a few months ago and this place did not disappoint in giving us the Spain experience. We ordered chorizos, croquetas de champis, gambas, tortilla clasica, berenjena, papas a la brava, y sidra roja. The food and drinks were delicious! The waiter and waitresses were welcoming and kind. We're probably gonna eat here for the next few days, it was that good.

Such a sweet and nice restaurant. It feels like you’re in a living room having dinner with friends ‘cause it’s so cozy. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was also really great. The only minor downside is that we sometimes had to wait a bit longer for the tapas, and they didn't all arrive at the same time. But that can also be seen as a positive, since everything was truly prepared fresh. There were vegan and gluten-free dishes, and since everything is freshly prepared, they were able to accommodate special requests. This was especially great when it came to allergens! Overall
