Nice pub with Scottish food on the menu. Enjoyable atmosphere with nice people. The food was a portion appropriate for a light bite. The haggis wasn’t overwhelming. The steak pie had a nice dense crust. It was a little light on the filling. Nice back room for a cozy group. Overall a solid 3.89

As Scotland has different livencencing laws on children in drinking establishments, even though only one of us had a alcoholic cider you aren't allowed to sit in the pub with anyone under 18 unless you buy a main meal. We had the award winning steak and ale pie which was pretty nice, came with mash, carrots and a jue. Was pretty dissapointed there isn't a kids meal option so had to get sides which meant our little pit stop for a pint and a soft drink ended up costing us £65ish 😮‍💨 ruined it for me to be honest but I guess that's because we didn't know about the licensing not because the plac
