Really disappointing today. Ordered a “rich” ragu pappardelle that was watery, filled with courgette and carrot ribbons, and served with tagliatelle pasta not pappardelle. It was bland and tasted of very little, certainly not rich and comforting like I have had at other restaurants. I have had excellent meals before in Planta, so this was very disappointing. Service was good, the girls were very attentive, but there was a long wait for food, where tables around us who ordered after us received their food before us.

We went to Planta for an early dinner when it wasn’t busy at all. We asked for a table for two, and the waitress greeted us kindly and started to show us to our table. Then another staff member came over, whispered something to her, and her whole demeanor changed. She came back to us, apologized, and said they wouldn’t be able to serve us any food. We left feeling confused and really disappointed. From our perspective, it felt like we weren’t accommodated because we are Arab and Muslim. We truly hope that wasn’t the case, but that’s honestly how it came across to us in that moment. What made
