So after going a wakes after funerals with crap sandwiches and cake I thought I would hold my Auntie Joan’s wake at the Toby carvery in Ewell. It was brilliant, the staff were truly amazing and gave us our own area to eat. The staff were totally respectful and read the atmosphere brilliantly. I walked in and they said “ looks like you need a beer !!” The food was amazing as ever and not a dodgy egg and cress sandwich in site. After the meal the staff put aside an area in the bar so we could continue. Great value as well and beats £30 a head for pub sandwiches as well come in at £23 a head i

We celebrated my Dad’s 80th birthday yesterday at Toby Carvery, and had a wonderful experience. We were seated in a charming, peaceful part of the restaurant, which made the occasion feel extra special. The meal was fantastic—featuring hand-carved meats accompanied by all the classic trimmings. The Yorkshire puddings were impressively large, the roast potatoes perfectly golden, and there was an abundance of vegetables and rich gravy. The grandkids had a blast creating their own sundae desserts, which added a fun touch to the meal. The Irish coffees were also a highlight—smooth and delicious. O

We had such a lovely experience at Toby Carvery, and a big part of that was thanks to our amazing server, Ivana. She was so friendly, attentive, and warm from the moment we sat down. Nothing felt like too much trouble, and she made sure everything ran smoothly without ever being overbearing. The food was great as always! Ivana’s service honestly made the visit stand out.
