The_polite_passport★★★★★I had a lovely creamtea at Eat on the green. The setting is beautiful, right by Exeter Cathedral, and it feels like the perfect place for traditional Devon Treat. The Scones were fresh and warm, the clotted cream was rich and the jam was delicious. The tea was nice, I would have preferred a larger pot as it was quite small. Staff were friendly, attentive throughout. It was relaxing experience, made even better by the historic atmosphere and views over Cathedral Green. Eat on the Green is definitely worth trying.
Pauline Robinson★★★★★Warm freshly made giant scones. If you're planning on a cream tea then bring your appetite. The scones are enormous with plenty of cream and jam to put on. We were so stuffed we couldn't eat anything else that day. When we go again, and we will, we'll be sharing the scones. The staff are very friendly and obliging. There is outdoor seating.
Greg Ashfield★★★★★A fry up with a view of the cathedral, first time in here and impressed by it. Went for the ‘Ulster fry’ and wasn’t disappointed. Love black & hogs pudding, the soda bread not my thing but the potato bread was very good. 8/10.
Ashley James 74★★★★★Great cafe, in a great location which is away from the hustle and bustle of the high street. Staff are very friendly, observant and more than happy to help with any query or problem. Food is clean and the portion size is more than enough. Great smoothies too! Recommended.
