Walked in as a pair, really nice staff team and very welcoming, sat down had a bunch of the food of the takeaway and even had 2 cotton candy cakes - very soft and melts in your mouth. The sauce was also very nice that they provide on your table. Bill came to £50 but we ordered a lot and it came with a service charge. Very worth it!

YO! Sushi Exeter is a solid 4-star spot for a quick, reliable sushi fix in the city centre. The main strength is consistency. You know what you’re getting — fresh enough sushi, quick service, and a familiar conveyor-belt style setup that makes it easy to grab a variety of dishes without waiting around. It’s especially good if you’re after a casual lunch or something quick while shopping or walking through town. The menu has a decent range, from classic nigiri and maki to hot dishes like katsu and gyoza, so it works even if not everyone at the table is fully into sushi. Portion sizes are fair

Had the bento combo meal for a late lunch. Good value though felt a little short changed on the maki rolls which were tiny and not well made (fell apart very easily). Service by Emily was great. She was having to look after the whole restaurant by herself, seating people, taking and delivering orders, and dealing with takeaway customers, and she did this while maintaining a lovely demeanour. If I return to Yo Sushi it will be because I got great service from her.
