I visited ice shack last week - my mam and I came from Durham to a concert and travelled 40 mins from our hotel/ train station/ arena specifically for ice shack. And it DID NOT disappoint!!!! I honestly did not want to leave. I had a dinosaur sandwich, an ice cream sundae, a kinder bueno hot chocolate and some cakes to take away… whether you’re vegan or lactose intolerant or what, please come to this shop. The owner is so friendly and accommodating and everything is DELICIOUS. Already planning my next trip to Manchester just so I can come back here!!!

Ordered a bento cake the DAY before I needed it! Last minute lil but Ice Shack came through with a lovely little cake, beautifully decorated. I asked for pistachio cake with raspberry icing and it was DELICIOUS! Light and fluffy and went down a treat. I wish we got a big one! Went to pick it up having never been in and staff were lovely and friendly. We obviously had to try an ice cream while we were there so I had the pistachio and my friend who isn’t vegan had the biscoff. We both agreed it was delicious. Ice Shack is the best vegan cafe in Manchester. The desserts are to die for, the light bites are tasty and well made and the staff are lovely. I’ve known Leah, the owner, for about 4 years now and she’s one of the nicest people in the world. I’ve never seen her get angry or shout at anyone or be mean to people. She’s one of the sweetest and most accommodating people that I’ve ever met. She does so much for the community as well. Absolutely incredible! Best (vegan) ice cream my family has ever had!!! I tried the Nutella and rhubarb flavors which were phenomenal. So many local and fresh ingredients, all made with love. The owner is a gem and giving back to the community too. Can't recommend this place enough!
