Had takeaway from here twice and the first time was great. Second time it was really disappointing. A grand total of over £70 for burgers and sides. We had poutine which was dry and nothing like the photos. £9.50 for some dry chips and tasteless haggis on top with some ridiculously spicy sauce. Average burgers which are a step away from being worse than McDonald's. Overall filling but expensive and tasteless.

I visited on the 10th of May 2024. My partner ordered a beef burger- a few days later he was hospitalised due to severe food poisoning. This was the only meal he had eaten that could’ve caused the type of poisoning he had. On the same night, our two vegetarian friends ordered cauliflower wings. Upon receiving it, they immediately recognised that they had been given chicken wings. I was completely appalled by our experience, and shocked at the standards that Bloc+ exhibited. It markets itself as a cool and safe place for alt people, but in reality this did not align with our experience. We we

Played here with my band, and it was one of the best run venues I've played so far. Food was very nice (and really cheap), beer was reasonably priced, and the crowd were spectacular. Never played Scotland before but if they're all as good as Bloc+ I think I might move up there.
