Food was very well executed and the menu had so many appealing options. I had the Texan chicken schnitzel with cowboy beans and pickle salad, which was cooked superbly. Only grievance was I thought there could have been a lot more of the beans as it was more like a garnish than a substantial part of the dish, meaning I had to order a portion of fries on top. My partners venison meatballs were great and brimming with sweet confit garlic as billed. Well-made crispy potato terrine was enjoyable and the peppercorn sauce very tasty. Staff were great and very efficient. Really pleasant, relaxing pla

Three words: hot honey cheese. I'll get to the rest of the menu in a moment, but we need to talk about the Black Bomber cheese spread with hot honey on fried sourdough first. Because nothing else I ate that day, nothing else I've eaten this year, lands with quite that quiet devastation. Black Bomber is already a sharp, aggressive Welsh cheddar. Fashionable restaurant in Partick, Glasgow, not far from the West End. Recommend reservations as it’s a popular spot. I ended up eating at the bar, which was fine. Was near the bar and watched the boys in the kitchen do their stuff. Had the crab pasta, nice presentation and good full flavours. Bar staff and wait staff were really switched on. Had a Talisker whisky for dessert after a beer. Hard to find anything negative to say about the place. Food executed very well..

Finally tried this place today and wasn’t disappointed. The food was lovely, no complaints at all. I had the BBQ shredded duck leg and beef dripping hash brown, which had a perfect runny egg and silky holandaise sauce. The has brown was perfectly crisp and I ate the lot. My good friend had the currywurst breakfast bun - I tired a bit of the homemade pork square sausage and it was tasty. The fries were a great addition, honey mustard fries with bacon crumb and spring onions, and we also had a side of light and crispy onion rings. All in all it was a ten out of ten brunch, and the atmosphere
