We had an absolutely fantastic meal at The Islay Inn. The food was stunning – every dish was full of flavour and beautifully done. It was one of those meals where there were clean plates all round because everything was just so delicious! My teenage cousin said the macaroni was the best she’s ever had, which is high praise from a very tough critic! The steak pie was also truly delicious – rich, comforting, and cooked perfectly. Honestly, everything we tried was amazing. The service was just as impressive as the food. The staff went above and beyond for everyone, making us feel so welcome fro

Went at lunch time and had a great and superb tasting venison burger accompanied by amongst the best chips I have ever eaten. As the all the meals are cooked from scratch I decided to skip the starter and had absolutely no room for the desert which means I will have to revisit to sample the desert treats. Looking forward to that.

Absolutely delicious! Had the Sunday roast and steak & Merlot pie. BlackBerry bramble and cosmo. Everything was terrific. You must go.

Came here for the Thursday steak and frites deal and it did not disappoint! The steak was cooked perfectly and was not chewy at all. Great portion too
