Sue S.★★★★★We dropped in for a cocktail and found lots of creative options. The one I had was delicious, although it was short on the listed sparkling wine component. We watched the bartender empty the final few drops out of a bottle, but not bother to open a new one to finish the drink. Staff were outfitted in random things like hoodies and holiday sweaters. No style and no indication that they work in an upscale cocktail bar with a sleek vibe and well-dressed patrons.
Charly Thieme★★★We thought it was a cocktail bar but there was no welcome, no table service, or advice on how to order. In fact, we got ignored by the person doing front of house. More like a pub set up where you order and pay at the bar. Other two folks behind the bar nice, and we drank some lovely and creative cocktails! Other things to note - sticky tables, it was cold in there, and we noticed quite a few cobwebs. Amazing looking bookshelves and general set up and style of the place but somehow mismatched with the service and staff
S C★★★★★Beautiful bar with delicious cocktails and a decent range of other drinks. They made an iced coffee, even though it wasn't on the menu. Didn't try the food. Nice staff and good atmosphere.
Cassie Amos★★★★★When you are in Glasgow for one night and you ask for a recommendation from another cocktail enthusiast and they point you in this direction- well you would be stupid not to book a space. Atmosphere was fantastic, the place was a buzz. The drinks where lush and the small plate platters where flavoursome and delectable. Even my friends who can be fussy eaters loved it. Plus surrounded by books! Yes please! Make sure to book a space for food! We booked two hours before we got there and I am so glad we did! Will definitely be back. Favourite venue of the visit and favourite cocktail of the year!
