Emily Mort★★★★★

Classic Glasgow Pub, away from the city centre hustle and bustle and "modern bar" style, a real taste of the real Glasgow. Close to Bridge Street Subway Station, Cash Only so plan ahead to avoid disappointment, unless you want to pay £1.75 for your own cash at the local Spa cash machine. As a business owner I don't blame them, it's hard in this industry at the moment so understand any way to save on costs, which in turn keeps the price of a pint down. £4.40 for Murphy's or Tenants £4.55 for Cask £4.70 for Keg. Great for an independent local!

Mark Catterall★★★★

A fantastic 1960s style Glasgow neighborhood pub. Very popular, with a diverse clientele. Currently in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide (2026). Apparently renowned for its Guinness. Just across the road from the Bridge Street subway station. Only draw back CASH ONLY. If you want to meet Glasgow... drop in.

Martha LM★★★★★

The best kind of time warp and a must visit for those that enjoy a traditional pub. Cash only, with affordable prices and a good choice of drinks. The interior is lovely and untouched. An iconic spot and very near the subway. It was busy throughout our visit.
