AVOID FOR EVENTS Absolutely disgraceful experience. We had booked a table for 10 people to celebrate a 30th birthday and had already paid £110 in advance for a reserved drinks package. We arrived excited for what should have been a special night, only for the door staff to refuse us entry without giving us any proper explanation. The attitude of the door staff was shocking. They were rude, dismissive and completely unwilling to explain their decision. Instead of treating paying customers with basic respect, they made us feel like we didn’t matter. Saturday 10th Jan, early afternoon, 4 friends out for drinks. It was quiet but we noticed reservations cards on tables. We asked staff and they advised we were ok with tables without noted reservations. Waited ten minutes at bar to be served, not sure if staff we new, however people started to gather but staff weren’t aware of who was next so we needed to mention we were first to the bar. Dear Manager, On 28th February 2026, around 11 PM, my three dear friends and I eagerly queued for hours to celebrate a special birthday at Wunderbar. One of my friends, who once worked at your establishment, highly recommended it as the perfect spot for joyful parties and good times—we trusted his word and arrived full of excitement and hope. Had a lovely time with friends on a Saturday nite, drinks only, reason for 1 star. Staff friendly, bar very busy so service felt a bit slow. When making cocktails bar staff used fingers adding passion fruit to cocktail, not hygienic, so staff need reminded about that Entertainment was fabulous & good atmosphere. Would come again.
