First time finding this place and would definitely come back. Visited during half term break with my son and was very surprised how tucked away it was. Got indoors and felt like I was somewhere else. Love the interior and the cozy/warmth atmosphere. It also connected to nice indoor and outdoor play ( temp closed off due to repairs I assume ) area for kids. However indoor soft play had my son amazed! He made a new friend and we enjoyed a nice brunch and play. I would absolutely recommend . Welcoming and friendly staff, music not too loud but can still hear it to enjoy.

Pub quiz was fun every Wednesday at 8pm. Really nice staff. Pleasant and attentive walking round every so often asking about food etc. New assistant manager seems nice. The only downside was the Mac cheese the pasta was kinda hard and under cooked but as it's all set meals by the company and warmed up I can't really complain with the price. It may have just been that one that time but I always enjoy the salad along with the service and places atmosphere as a whole. Will update on food on next visit 😊

Tried The Phantom Winger and left pretty disappointed. The food came out very quickly, but it was obvious it had been reheated — the fried food was dark, over-crispy and felt more like they’d been blasted in a fryer than freshly cooked. For the price, I really expected better quality and fresher food. It felt expensive for what we actually got. I honestly wish I’d taken more notice of the existing Google reviews before going — unfortunately they seem fairly accurate in this case.

Stayed at the travel lodge next door. First impressions not great, stood at the bar to be served ages whilst member of staff made a personal phone call at the end of the bar. Ordered x 2 breakfast which was so lovely, nothing to complain about food wise, but said member of staff forgot to tell us there were no mushrooms. Opted for toast instead, she then forgot to bring the toast, which eventually arrived as we had finished. Bit poor really.
