Just the sort of traditional pub I truly love. Quiet, clean, comfortable, and with an outstanding range of beers. There are many more draught options available (at least a dozen, I'd guess), but I'm here to tell you that Timothy Taylor's Landlord is one of the great ales and it's delicious on tap here. I also appreciated the availability of canned Guinness 0.0, which is the best alcohol-free beer I know. Didn't try the food, I believe pizzas may be available but there's a decent Indian restaurant next door so you can always wander in there before or after. Plenty of screens for sports watching

Lovely pub and beer garden, even though you're on the main road, it didn't spoil the atmosphere. Lovely and pleasant. Will visit again for sure.

I follow the YouTube channel " The Great British Pub Crawl and I am likewise astounded that this Greene King pub has an incredible range of guest real ales. Alic and Boothroyd love this pub. Even got a CAMRA members discount.I had a super pint of Pennine Brewery Lions in the Heart 3.9% ale. A Cask Marque pub. Beautifull interior. There is a less attractive outside drinking area by the car park. Should be in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide. Top pub.

Recently visited the County for a family birthday and had an amazing experience! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, a special shoutout to Millie she was so attentive and friendly!! Definitely recommend if you’re looking for exceptional service and a great night out!
