I booked this for myself and a friend on Saturday night after googling Italian restaurants near Manchester Airport. Piccolino had a rating above 4, so I chose without even looking at the menu or prices. 20 minutes later we were there, sat in a booth at the back of the restaurant. So far so good, but how would the food be? I was not disappointed Was surprised to see a two course special menu for £25 on a Saturday night, which had plenty of choice. As usual Rosario, waited on us, we hadn’t booked but got straight in, Rosario remembered us and asked if I wanted my usual a rose, he wears really cool glasses and is the kindest guy who is most attentive, I wish all waiters were like Rosario. Kind and cool.

Visited for the first time in years recently with the kids too, it was even better than I remember. They took so much care with my son’s allergies. So family friendly and wonderful food and drinks, we will be back sooner this time! X

Went here for a birthday celebration, the staff were 10/10 from start to finish and even sang happy birthday to us with their amazing singing! I was quite sad that they ran out of the lobster pasta dish I was interested in as we were quite early into service but my second seafood pasta choice was delicious and same with my partners. I was also disappointed with the garlic focaccia bread we ordered, it was soooo dry to the point it was stale but hoping we just got an unlucky batch. Would definitely go again for a special occasion as the service and main dishes here are incredible
