3rd time meeting as a family for dinner here. We love it. Food is fresh and really tasty. Staff have always been amazing. Today we were served by Brad who went above and beyond (including a phone call to let us know we left an unopened birthday card behind). It’s dog friendly which is great (even if ours let us down!). Well worth a visit for brunch, lunch or dinner as it’s a really good independent restaurant with a great menu.

I was looking for a venue in central Harrogate with a suitable space to host a quiz afternoon for my colleagues. Starling was recommended to me, and I am very glad it was. I liaised with Joe throughout the process, and he made everything effortless from start to finish. Communication was excellent, and he responded promptly to all enquiries, making the organisation of the event straightforward and stress-free. We held the event yesterday, and everyone was impressed with the quality of the food, the service, and the venue itself. It is a warm and welcoming space, perfectly suited to our needs

Great place overall, little pricey for pizza and in honesty, £7.50 for a portion of sweet potato fries is obscene. It's just a casual bar/restaurant not a Mitchelin star restaurant. Pleasant welcome and waiter really helpful. Food went cold quickly on wooden boards and sweet potato was.cold almost straight away, helped along by room upstairs that we were in, being freezing! I had my coat on the whole time as so cold. Radiators were on but far too small for the room especially with huge glass windows. That spoilt it as eating out should be pleasurable so sitting in a fridge on a cold winters ni
