Helen Eldridge★★★★This is a wonderful place to visit if you want lunch with a difference! The whole cafe is full of wartime memorabilia with cups and saucers and vintage plates to use and old-fashioned chairs to sit on. The menu is varied and includes corned beef sandwiches (a wartime favourite) whilst the cream tea is outstanding! You can even buy vintage crockery and small gifts! I only haven't given 5* because the latte wasn't very good. We come to the town just to go to this tearoom. A hidden gem.

It's like a little museum to WW2, very highly recommended if anyone is looking for a nice cup of tea in a tea pot with a little cosy on! I had a coronation chicken sandwich which was very filling. We went at 12.00 on a Wednesday and it wasn't too busy. 10/10 for food and decor.
