⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely hit the spot! If you’re looking for a proper, comforting meal, this is it. The battered fish was massive, perfectly golden, and had a fantastic, crispy crunch without being overly greasy. The chips were exactly what you want—thick-cut, fluffy on the inside, and plenty of them. The shop is run by a lovely uncle who is incredibly nice and welcoming, which made the whole experience feel so warm and inviting. Fast service, massive portions, and total comfort food. Will definitely be back!

First time trying this place and I like that they cook your food to order (10 minute wait). Had the haddock and chips and the batter was still crispy even after being bagged up for 15 minutes. It was a little oily but that’s because it has been cooked fresh and not sat there all day for the oil to drain so I can forgive this. Size of the fish is in proportion to the price. Sausage in batter also very fresh and curry sauce was one of the best I’ve had from a chippy. Would def recommend!

First time visit as I was over this way and it was spot on. Chips were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, the cod was very nice with a light crispy batter with big flakes of fish, the battered sausage was coated in light crispy batter and the curry sauce was thick and fruity so a big nod to the cook! The ladies behind the counter were friendly and very polite. 10 out of 10 for the service too. Highly recommend.
