One of my favourite places to go! A great cosy/warm atmosphere with lovely staff who are always very friendly and welcoming! The food is just delicious, giving home comfort food but better!

Worst curry ever. Over cooked rice, gloopy sauce a few green beans and a few cubes of sweet potato... oh and i think a slice of aubergine .. topped off with a 'charred lime. A stodgy gloop of salty vegetable bouillon and cornflour. could still taste it the next day. Not a good meal at all. £18.95 plus bottle of sparkling water £6. Family had fish and chips which they said were ok. There were 6 of us 3 had alcohol spent £270 ... felt a bit ripped off. The staff were friendly and doing their job, food did take a long time to arrive. Nothing special when the place has such great potential. No

This was one of the best Sunday roast meals I’ve had ever. And we also ordered the gluten free fish and chips which was also one of the best I’ve ever had! Blown away by the quality of the food, attention to our needs, amazing service and felt so welcomed. The waitress we had was so wonderful and took such good care of us and my gluten free needs. So many good gf options by the way. Beautiful pub and atmosphere. We sat near a lovely open fire. And the pub is located in beautiful countryside, the drive there was gorgeous. All in all a fantastic experience. Highly recommend.

Great quality food with generous portions. The chips were to die for!!! The staff were lovely and welcoming. We waited a little while for the food, but you don’t mind when it’s freshly cooked and well worth the wait. The outdoor area would be lovely in the summer too. Would definitely recommend and we’ll be returning soon!
