This was our first time visiting this area, and I came here with my husband and our dog. The table we originally booked was a bit too small, but a very kind staff member named Vik, who was managing the seating, helped us find a new table where all three of us could sit comfortably. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was outstanding. Everyone was incredibly friendly, which made the whole experience even more special. It truly turned into a perfect Sunday for us. We were guests at a friend's afternoon party at the Spaniards. The garden looked absolutely stunning in the sunshine. The place was packed and the atmosphere was perfect happy UK summer vibes. The party food was delicious and plentiful - the halloumi fries and cheesecake deserving a special mention. The staff were great but clearly had their hands full on such a busy day. A dedicated staff member for our party (of about 30-40) might have made ordering easier. The food is great, service is spot on specifically with Sheetal! Shes so attentive and always checks up on us in comparison to some others who forgot to give us cutlery before our food arriving. Sheetal has looked after us throughout our dining experience! My mum loved it, so definitely coming back!

We had their Festive menu on Christmas Eve. The place was packed! It’a a pub with an amazing history and it shows. I would definitely come back to have a beer and a burger in their garden in the warmer seasons after a stroll in the surrounding nature park. However, the food was a disappointment, specifically the main dish - the turkey with all the traditional sides. The food was bland and the pig in the blanket was honestly a small bit of coal on the plate. The Eton mess dessert was OK and the goat cheese starter was pretty good as well. The staff overall seemed super nice if a little overwork
