Staff are really friendly as always. My partner and I have been using this chippy ever since it was reopened/taken over a few years ago. Unfortunately, it seems the food has gone downhill. Opened up our chips for half of the bag to be full off batter, it seems they just scraped the last bit of chips they could out of the fryers. It's not usually like this.... The other food (battered sausage, fish cake, chicken strips) we ordered were luke warm/cold. It's put us off coming to this chippy in the future.

They have just started fried chicken! It was absolutely amazing! Family are raving that it’s better than the main stream fried chicken. Value was amazing! So good for the price. Chicken was HUGE! The staff have always been so kind and friendly. I’m very socially awkward and they take time to help me order. They didn’t just leave me to wait, they offered that I go do shopping whilst I wait for fresh chicken. Whilst I sat in the chippy they made sure to keep me updated that it wouldn’t be too long and that next time we can call in advanced for our large family order.

Hands down my favourite chippy. These guys get it spot on every single time. The chicken kebab is cooked exactly how I like it — juicy, full of flavour, and never dry. You can tell they actually care about how the food comes out, not just throwing it together. The battered chips are unreal — crispy, golden, and full of flavour, not greasy or soggy like so many places. And if you want plain chips, they’ll cook them fresh to order, which makes a massive difference. Service is always friendly, portions are generous, and the quality is consistently top tier.
