2nd home of the PCU, this spacious and well appointed Pub hides at the bottom of an alleyway just off the Strand. Clean and welcoming, it was very quiet on the Saturday hight we went, but then the wheels of Justice don't turn on a weekend and many patrons are probably out of town on a weekend. Tayto crisps on sale of you happen to hail from the emerald isle.

I have frequented this pub for over 25 years. Delighted to say it has hardly changed. A proper pub serving mostly drinks with some food. Limited food menu, but what is offered is done very well. The Daily Special was Cottage Pie. Delicious. No seasoning required. The current owner, Tony, is extremely welcoming. I look forward to returning.

I’ve been to this pub many times, so often, in fact, that the bartenders know me pretty well. I’m there almost every week (used to be every day 🙄), and for good reason. Every time I pop in, I’m greeted with open arms. The conversations with the bartenders are always great, and I’ve never felt anything less than welcome.
