We’re eating here for the second time on our trip. The beer is great and the Steak pie and chicken pies are amazing! We will be back on our next visit!!

Not sure if they had malt vinegar, but it wasn't needed, just a bit of fresh lemon. The whipped ricotta was filling and delicious. The meat pie looked good. They have a few good options for dessert. I tried the sticky toffee pudding.

Sue Beard★★★★★Great find just 2 mins walk from Shaftesbury Theatre and 5 mins to Holborn station. We were there on a Tuesday evening in winter, just before 5pm for pre-theatre meal and drinks. Nice laid back welcoming atmosphere at this time, with a few tables reserved from 5.30pm, so we still had choice of where to sit. The bar staff were very friendly and quick service. We both had sausage & mash on a drizzly January day and it was just what we needed! Ample serving (3 x Cumberland sausages!) with sweet caramelised onions, mash and gravy. Plenty of other choices but I would probably order the same again
