Although the pub was fairly quiet as it is recently following the new owners having taken over, but I was at the bar earlier this evening ordering my usual and also for another for one of the other regulars. I think Charlie was near the bar when we ordered with Jack, who had gone to rinse our just out of the dishwasher hot lager glasses with cold water because they ran out. I’m the meantime, Tom appeared near the staff soft drink area and I said why don’t you guys have enough beer Moretti glasses these days since the takeover. 6 of us visited on Sunday late morning after attending a dance competition at the University. The service was good and friendly. A decent selection of beers, especially Alpacalypse, which you hardly see anywhere. They had run out of Blue Moon though unfortunately. The food was passable at the time (although the gammon was very salty - even for Gammon - and VERY dry), but since attending, 3 of the party have been ill with severe stomach cramps and sickness, which is still ongoing (2 days later). The food was good. Ordered chicken wings , chicken burger , chicken pizza. The names in the menu card might b different but these were the items .. Staffs were friendly and gave us a good service. The delivery time was also less. Overall it was a nice experience. The second time I visited I had a sub and a mix platter... The mix platter was worth the price and the sub was also huge... Stomach filling and worth for money . Enjoy eating 😋
