Absolutely atrocious customer service, I came In earlier today, as I felt really unwell, headache and felt quite faint, worried I’d actually pass out. I sat somewhere in the back and ordered a hot drink, the staff kept walking by, starring at me, and muttering to themselves. And then after about 30 minutes, one walks over and tells me to “leave” and that I’m “not allowed to stay as long as I did” I then told her that I felt “faint, and dizzy and wanted somewhere quiet to sit”, and she dramatically rolled her eyes. Always amazingly stuffy sweaty and dirty. It’s a pretty average franchised Costa coffee shop. Always a bit hit and miss on service, cleanliness and atmosphere. The plus points are that it’s open later on Sunday than the other shops (to 6 I think). Coffee is ok but not great. Food is sandwiches and toasted sandwiches Cake and coffee are what they are about really. Decor is standard Costa coffee style, so plenty of browns, greys and black but they do have big windows so not too dim.

Why do the staff feel it's okay to close off part of the store 90 minutes before the closing time indicated on the door? It's very annoying to have staff vacuuming around you when you're trying to enjoy an afternoon cuppa.
