Lanka Indian Restaurant in Hull is an absolute gem. The food is packed with amazing flavours, beautifully cooked, and clearly made with fresh, authentic ingredients. Every dish tasted high quality and full of care, with that real homemade feel that sets a great restaurant apart from the average. The restaurant itself is spotless, with a clean, fresh interior that makes it feel welcoming and comfortable from the moment you walk in. I was with a family of four. The kids ordered fries with chicken; the meat was dry, and the sauce was poor. We ordered fish; there was very little of it per portion and a lot of oil. I don't recommend these dishes. Maybe something else is worth the price.

I have eaten in a lot of different Indian restaurants and i can tell you from my experience this is one of the good ones. Service was quick. The food was delicious. Particularly impressed with how tender the meat was across all three meals ordered in the group. I will be revisiting thats for sure.

I've had takeaway from Lanka many times and the food is always very good, but eating it fresh at the restaurant it was absolutely superb. The bread was warm and crisp on the bottom, soft on top, and the curry was incredibly flavourful. The restaurant was very clean, with an intimate atmosphere and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bill came to about £60 for the two of us but that included four beers, and we ate quite a lot of food! Great value for great food.
