Food: We have come here on multiple occasions to play our board games and when we do, we generally have a meal to go along with it. The food is consistent throughout with good flavour across most of what you order. However the star of the show is the seabass. Service: Generally pretty solid if unspectacular service with helpful waiters and waitresses who are chill. Atmosphere: There is a good loud atmosphere when the place is crowded and a nice relaxing and calm atmosphere when it is quieter. I think it's got something for everyone here, whether it be just to come for a drink or to watch a f

What a fantastic pub! I can't believe I've only just discovered it - it has a proper community feel, with the added bonus of genuinely fantastic food and reasonably priced drinks. Lovely atmosphere inside and out, and the staff are fab. Shout out to Oscar who was a wonderful pub quiz host on Wednesday (not least because we won...!) Dog friendly too, Onion was very appreciative of the treats. We will definitely be back

Great hide away pub near the Kia Oval cricket ground, just a 5 minute walk from the gates. Not to mention a great refuge on those rainy cricketing days! Very clean pub With friendly attentive staff, food came quickly with a decent fish and chips being served. Lots of seating at the front with a restaurant / function room in the back. Wide selection of drinks available including (at time of writing), a good range of lagers, ales and spirits. The Aperol spritz went down particularly well when the sun came out. Santander bikes located just opposite the pub to park up if arriving by bicycle. Li

I live in a rural farm area and after reading the gushing reviews then my expectations were set too high. The Sunday roast was drowning in gravy, the beef was of modest quality, the portions were ample but that's not what I dine out for. If this is a London gem then that suggests the rest of my dinning experience in London will be pretty miserable. Overall, standard pub fare, service was good, the garden was fine but nothing to write home about.
