Geoff Thayer★★★★★Had a fantastic meal and experience. I'm Coeliac and this was my first attempt at a Chinese Gluten Free meal and it couldn't have been any better. The restaurant itself is really nice, the staff were so friendly and helpful and the food - OMG 😲, it was fabulous. The manager/owner explained how the kitchen worked and that they actively add to the gluten free menu whenever they are able to source the appropriate ingredients, but the choice now is very wide ranging. Our evening was just superb, I can't praise the Imperial restaurant enough, I just wish that I lived much nearer! ( It's a 200 m
Rhys C★★★★★Great friendly service, the staff were attentive but not overbearing. Food was superb! Chicken and sweetcorn soup lovely. Appetisers of chicken lettuce wrap with prawn and dipping sauce 👌🏻 really tasty and refreshing. Main of imperial curry, salt and pepper prawns, chicken sweet and sour and pork with double mushroom + egg fried rice. Every dish tasted incredible. Fresh, gluten free and delicious 10/10 well worth a visit
Louise Riccalton★★★★We had the lunch special, with some changes and add ons. Food was good and we had a mix of dishes. We added in ribs both chilli salt and cantonese, both very good. Sweet and sour, curry and crispy cantonese chicken very good too. Spicy garlic was nice but not garlicy or spicy, more sweet and sour. Lunch time clientel is an older crowd but as a family with teenagers this was still a good choice.
Dollar Reviews★★★★The owner is a lovely gentleman who made the restaurant feel more homely. Service is fine otherwise, but they aren't very attentive to drinks. The banquet menus are quite good value. We went for the Royal banquet with some additions: - I don't understand why chicken and sweetcorn soup is a thing. - the ribs were OK but the sauce lacked depth. - the salt and chilli prawns were juicy and fresh. - the cantonese style beef was tangy and sweet, which doesn't work taste wise. Five thumbs down. - the crispy duck was dry - everything else lacked flavour so wasn't notable. All in all it's really go
