Was attending an event at the First Direct arena & was recommend this pub for food by a friend. Absolutely did not disappoint. Lovely atmosphere. Was a little loud, but we did attend whilst the Grand National was being shown, so perfectly understandable. When we ordered our food we were advised it could be upto a 45minute wait. I ordered a steak, it came missing items, I had to ask for a steak knife and was given a dirty one then when I was given the second knife the bar staff handed it to me with her hands on the knife not the handle so I said it's dirty and she was trying to argue that it wasn't?? There's no post mix aka lemonade and coke, no mustard! Absolutely shocking service. I'm very disappointed as I come in hear regularly and have have never experienced anything like it.

The Chef told me it was a new member of Kitchen Staff & I should mention it at the Bar, which I did, but nothing was done & I have spent most of Today being

Great place for a drink before a gig! Normally put the music of the artist you're going to see on, which is a good touch!
