AVOID this pub at all costs! Arrived 15 mins prior to our booking, table was ready and the waiter did say food will be about 30-40 from time of ordering as we’re busy, 40 mins passes no food, 50 mins passes no food, I go to the bar to ask about the food and the bar man said should be within next 5 mins I’m really sorry, he did not go check in the kitchen. 5 mins passes still no food but other tables that ordered after us have already had there’s. I go back to bar and ask if he knows how much longer it’ll be and he says I’ll go check doesn’t come back for ages when he does come back he says it

What a lovely pub, can't believe we've not come across this place sooner. We were looking for somewhere to eat near to Leeds Grand, which offered a variety of food to suit all ages and taste. This ticked all the boxes and more. Delicious food, excellent prices and 20% off food if you're going to a show at Leeds Theatres. This will definitely be our go to place for a pre-theatre meal in future.

What a beautiful hidden gem in Leeds City Centre! The staff are attentive and incredibly friendly. The music playlist is so up my street,, for a chilled evening the vibe was spot on. I ordered the Steak Pie main with the Crispy Calamari as a starter, and it was incredibly delicious. I've ordered food here before, but the new menu is absolutely amazing, and I'm eagerly looking forward to the next time I come here for dinner.

We have been coming here for years and have always enjoyed the food. We chose the steak and ale pie, mine with mash and my partner had chips. We got one piece of parsnip and two slices of carrots. I don't really care for parsnips but with the lacking in amount of vegetables I tried to eat it. I took one bite and it wasn't cooked fully. Which is funny as one of my two carrots was burnt. The pie was frozen and obviously zapped in a microwave as it was squishy and chewy. There were no chunks of steak, it was like a pulled pork consistently. The mash was revolting, I question whether it was fro
