I had a ploughman's which was pretty average. Bread was cheap sliced bread with a spread on, not butter. Ham was good but cheese again tasted like a cheap cheese. Scone was definitely not homemade, tasted like a cheap supermarket scone. Not enough cream and raspberry jam. Scones should always be served with strawberry jam (just my opinion). Coffee was good though.

My mother and I tried to have breakfast here. We were the only ones in and asked to sit by the window- a table for 4 when there was going to be 3 of us- the third one being disabled hence a little more space. The girl that showed us to the table was extremely rude and didn’t like us asking for a particular table, making it very plain that she didn’t like it. After sitting down, we then heard her and a kitchen staff member whispering about us. At that point, we decided to leave. We will never set foot in there again, which is a shame as we used to love going there. We then went to the cafe oppo
