Cannot recommend Ukrainian Sunflower enough. Went for lunch today and was greated by the friendly staff. The menu is amazing, great selection of authentic Ukrainian dishes which we will have to come back to make our way through the whole list! There are helpful photos if the dishes are unfamiliar. We had the Varenyky with chicken and Ukrainian derun Royale which I highly recommend. A delicious potato pancake with chicken, mushrooms and melted cheese. The Ukrainian beer was also delicious! Interior decor is brilliant and I can't wait to be back very very soon. Thank you!!!

Hidden gem in Lichfield & dog friendly Everything was delicious & we would come again. 🥟 We had traditional borsch soup served with warm garlic & buttery pampushkas, varenyky dumplings, beef stroganoff, deruny potato pancakes topped with cheese, chicken, & mushrooms, and finished off with their homemade layered Napoleon cake. They have Ukrainian draught beer on tap & Ukrainian wine 🍺 Cute little restaurant with a homey feel 🌻

We wanted to try something new and different, and Ukrainian Sunflower was a fantastic choice. You can really tell it’s a family-run place, warm, authentic, and focused on proper home-style cooking. Everything was delicious, full of flavour, and very special, some of the nicest food we have ever had. We will definitely be coming back and bringing others with us. Highly recommended.
