Awful fish and chips the worst I’ve had in a while..couldn’t eat half the chips coz there was all bits like the potato hadn’t been peeled properly and the fish, if that’s a large fish I’d love to see a small fish..batter wasn’t crispy and lack of fish it was like it had been in the warmer since yesterday and they just put it back in the oil coz the fish was all dried out..need I go on, let’s just say I would never go here again, it wasn’t cheap and then to throw the food out is just a waste…there are better places than this in the area that actually give you a large fish! Beautiful day sun out down the sea then fancied a chippy and major disappointment, chips half cooked gravy no flavour really bad taste from the oil. overall very disappointed would never get chips there again. A lot of food standing under heat lighting going hard like rubber. 😕

Read many good reviews, so decided to visit . Service staff were friendly, the shop was in complete chaos ( as it was over run by a large group of very loud teenagers ). Who were not rude - just being high on life. Food was cooked to order ( always good), but when I returned home I was throughly disappointed- the fish was very over-cooked ( Dry and lacked any flavour, with little or no batter on ). The battered sausage was rock-hard and also dried out . Only redeeming thing was the chips - which were outstanding. But sadly the fish fell short of what I expected . Visited Wednesday evening
