Had a lovely Saturday evening at the Waggon & Horses - really welcoming staff and punters, reasonable prices and great fun with the karaoke later in the evening. A real community vibe without the pretentious gastropub nonsense so many places have turned to. You don't get pubs like this down south anymore. Shame I don't live nearby, because this would definitely be my local!

Amazing experience! Me and my friend were from out of town and we were greatly welcomed with help with prices with drinks. We came back the next night for bingo as well as karaoke and were already recognizing and welcome. Love the owners, Julie and Ian, as they also welcomed us. Would highly recommend!!! Such a lovely crowd, felt comfortable as two American women coming for the weekend from Northern Irleand. Chris was an amazing bartender as well, so were both the female and male owner. Again, lovely place, good music, amazing karaoke, and atmosphere! Please go! You will not regret coming here

Belting boozer, great beer, top atmosphere and the landlady is a star. Ideal for a game of pool or darts. Very welcoming pub.
