A pleasant enough basic local cafe which I chanced as the lovely Market cafe wasn't open. A cafe, it seems, appreciated by locals, despite all prices for meals being a pound or so higher than I would have imagined for the quality and amount of food. Exemplified by the fact of a quote of a pound more for a spoon of beans to an existing meal. I think if prices were slightly less and more commensurate with quality, this cafe would be significantly busier. This grilled chicken breast with chips and salad is a lovely meal. The staff are all very nice & they look after us well. We would recommend this place & this meal to everyone. This cafe is the best cafe in Longton & healthiest. Because Dave and his team do a lot of grilling.
