The food itself was genuinely good, which somehow makes the rest of the experience even more frustrating. The restaurant was virtually empty, yet we still waited over an hour for our meals with little communication, urgency, or organisation from staff. We’ve just moved into the area and had hoped this would become our new local, but after tonight there’s absolutely no chance we’ll return. To try and make up for the ridiculous delay, we were offered dessert free of charge — which would’ve been appreciated if we then hadn’t been left waiting another 30 minutes for someone to simply cut a slice

Came for a meal with some of my mates to celebrate finally getting my mortgage application through(any excuse for a drink!) On Saturday and after having some really good food (one of the nicest steaks I've had from anywhere in ages) we ended up staying on for a lot longer than we originally intended! Great atmosphere, food came out fairly quickly despite the place looking busy and the beer was excellent. Really enjoyed our visit! The food was absolutely lovely—everything came out fresh, full of flavour, and well presented. A special mention to Daisy, who served us and took our order. She provided some of the best service we’ve had—friendly, attentive, and made us feel really welcome throughout. Overall, a great experience and we’ll definitely be coming back!
