It's great going to Costa Coffee (we go to Maghull, Liverpool mainly). Great atmosphere and good choice of food. Staff welcoming and good with the kids. Doors aren't automatic, which can cause difficulty. Sometimes relying on other customers to assist in opening (for pram and elderly). I've chosen 4 out of 5 stars overall and for food, as although the food quality is good, the food prices are unreasonably very expensive. Love the loyalty app (11th drink free). Free sweet treat on birthday. In pic 😊.

Turned up here for a coffee having an hour hour to spare... what was supposed to be a quick coffee was a 20+ minute wait to order, a que of annoyed customers due to slow service and incorrect orders. Some people were actually walking out after the long wait just to order. The 2 staff behind the counter were frazzled. Sunday morning and only 2 staff is ridiculous. Coffee order took another 10+ minutes to arrive. Most tables weren't cleared and had trays and cups stacking up. Also no Gluten Free options at all apart from fruit and nuts. I’m really disappointed with the way one of the staff members at this Costa Coffee treats the local school children who come in. On multiple occasions, he has rolled his eyes when they politely ask for a free glass of water, and even when they’re actually buying drinks or food. It comes across as dismissive and unnecessarily rude. 0 stars

We visit quite often; excellent, helpful staff, good service and very popular. Very much a meeting place for friends and family. Today we called in for breakfast!
