It was a random and unexpected visit to this pub, however as the place we were due to go to was closed... We came here. And what a warm amazing welcome, the lady behind the bar (dark blonde wavy hair) was the funniest! Had an absolute hoot. The food looked delicious and it had a lovely busy atmosphere. I live 1.5 hours away however would not go anywhere else for some nice home cooked pub food full of friendly and welcoming people. Thank you for a great night!

Mine and my husband’s favourite spot for a Sunday roast! The food is always outstanding, the portion sizes are generous, and the staff are absolutely amazing — so warm and friendly every time we visit. And whatever you do, make sure you save room for the chocolate brownie… it’s incredible!
