Kevin Fitzgerald★★★★Decent place to wait for your train. Good drink selection and reasonable prices for a station bar. The outer part seats need replacing
Colin Baker★★★★★Argyle on tour! An excellent choice for pre match drinks.....once we found it !! Mixed directions on Google. It's only just off Piccadilly Station. Plenty of unusual craft beers and lagers to choose from. No food, just a drinking pub and obviously was a favourite of many judging by the continual flow of trade. Lots of Argyle and City fans mostly mature , with no idiots, all having a great time. It's got an upstairs as well with a balcony which looks out onto a busy, busy, vibrant street. A couple of City fans guided us through a magical "local " route to the Etihad.....quite bizarre !!
John Deakin★★★★★Great place to have a very reasonably priced beer less than 2 minutes walk from Picadilly station entrance. I had a Yorkshire Pale Ale, YPA, which cost £4.60, the cheapest city centre pint I had all weekend, apart from spoons. (April 26). Plenty of seating inside, with a first floor outside area overlooking the street and also a terrace to the front. A fresh delivery of kegs was taking place while I was there on a Tuesday morning so looks like there is a good turnover of beers to keep pints fresh. Two self contained, clean, gender neutral toilets are located upstairs with a hand basin and dry
Adrian Tooth★★★★★A great little boozer for any beer lovers who are catching/waiting for a train. Rather than sit in a burger joint, enjoy an excellent pint in a friendly pub atmosphere.
